Veggy Cigars



Im back after a long break of a year. I was busy in setteling down back in India.
This is a simple pakoda type of snack, but in a different shape. I just saw in one of the recipes show on tv. Tried out and came out gud, this is simple and has all veggys, paneer healthy snack on the other hand. Just mix up all the ingredients, shape it and deep fry. Do rest them in a tissue paper to soak out all extra oil. This snack soaks very little oil, as the batter made is hard like a chapathi dough.



Ingredients

1 boiled potato smashed
2 tblsp grated carrot
2 tblsp onion finnely chopped
2 tblsp beans finely chopped
2 tblsp capsicum finely chopped
2 tblsp paneer grated
2 tblsp cilantro chopped
1 tsp green chilly chopped
1/2 tsp red chilly powder
1/2 tsp termeric powder
1/2 tsp fried cumin powder(optional)
salt as per taste

1 tbsp each of corn, maida, besan flour
Oil to deep fry



Method

1. Mix all the above ingredients with a little water. Make like chapathi dough.
2. Heat oil in a deep frying pan..
3. Make any shape of this batter, i made in a stick shape.
4. Deep fry till golden brown color, serve with some tomato sauce.
